Academics

For 25 years, The Camp Recovery Center’s Meadow Lodge has been committed to helping teens get their lives back through education and recovery.

At our onsite, year-round, state-certified high school, teens receive individualized lesson plans and complete 20 hours of academic work each week. They also have the option to continue with independent study after finishing their drug treatment program, which allows them to live in a sober environment while doing schoolwork, attending 12-Step meetings, and working part-time or volunteering.

Credentialed teachers are part of a multidisciplinary team that works to provide each adolescent with the blend of academics, therapy and experiential activities that will best prepare them for long-term recovery. Some of our teachers have been with The Camp for over 10 years, demonstrating a commitment to reigniting a passion for learning in our adolescent patients.

Attending drug rehab doesn’t have to mean taking an extended break from school. By attending classes during treatment, teens are able to earn enough credits to stay on track in school.
